White Pearl

White Pearl is the brand name for rice produced exclusively by MAP Rice Mills. It is uniquely the only mainstream premium rice that is a single variety harvested from the region of West Punjab, where basmati was first grown over 5,000 years ago.

We de-husk the rice in our mill in West Punjab before completing the milling process in the UK. Instead of producing a highly polished grain with a white appearance, the grains are lightly polished so that the rice has a superior aroma, flavour and contains more nutrients than other, more highly-polished grains.

The White Pearl brand was established in 1992 and has become highly regarded for its authenticity and quality. Since its introduction, the range has grown to include flours, spices, lentils and pulses, tinned fruits and vegetables, cooking oils, curry pastes, pappadoms, chutneys and sauces.
